The Harford Center provides services and supports to adults with disabilities. We promote dignity, safety, stability, choice, and community integration. Our goal is to ensure that all of the individuals we support in programs are integrated into the community through social activities, volunteering, employment, and recreation.

After much deliberation, surveying of other agencies who provide similar services, and looking at the data, we have decided to relax the mask mandate at the Harford Center.  As of MONDAY, JULY 11, masks will be optional for staff/participants.  At present, Maryland’s positivity rate is at an all time low at 2.51%.  We are continuing to urge you to get vaccinated, get boosted, practice good hand hygiene, and stay home when sick.  If numbers increase in MD, or we have an increase in COVID cases at the center, or if a variant emerges, we will likely reinstitute masks. Again, masks will be optional, and we want to encourage staff who want to wear a mask to continue to do so.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
