Volunteer Opportunities

The Harford Center welcomes individuals and groups who want to make a meaningful impact by sharing their time, talents and compassion with others.  Whether you can help once or on an ongoing basis, your support helps enrich the daily experiences for people with developmental disabilities in our community.

We have a need for volunteers with specific skills, including construction and basic maintenance, gardening and landscaping, and arts and crafts such as painting, music, or creative workshops.

  • Donate/Organize others to donate items from our wish lists.
  • Share your talents and skills with us by volunteering to beautify our building, or make repairs as needed. Specific needs include construction, basic maintenance, gardening or landscaping, arts and crafts or creative workshops.
  • Volunteer to set up or help during one of our fundraising events.
  •

One of the simplest ways to support The Harford Center is by touring our facility, learning about our work, and sharing our mission with others. We have been an essential part of the Harford County community since 1961, and your support helps us continue spreading awareness of our mission.

Please email info@harfordcenter.org for more information about becoming a volunteer.
